May 6 2014, The Poem by Ans van Kessel

Ans van Kessel, International Blowing Bubbles Day

Ans van Kessel recited her poem “Om jou te ontmoeten” in Dutch in the “Engelse Tuin”.
The English and the Finnish version :

To meet you

If a blown bubble
touches the clouds

your breath on
Earth blows

I will be beared

no pain no storm
rushes through my garden

lost and again

the days full
summer flowers

a kite

tensed to get
higher than high

ascend, descend

circling to

in a world

where people
sing of peace.

Sinut kohdatakseen

Kun puhallettu kupla
koskettaa pilviä

hengityksesi tuulee maan yli
silloin minua kannatellaan

ei kipu eikä myrsky
puutarhaani riuhdo

kadotettu ja uudelleen

päivät täynnä kesäkukkia

jännitetty jotta
korkeuksista korkeimpaan

nousisi, laskisi

sinut kohdatakseen

jossa ihmiset
laulavat rauhasta

And As The Sun Goes Under…

“And as the sun goes under,
Thick clouds conspire to cover
The moon that should rise yonder.”

Bubble Poem

Bubble Poem Elisa

Each one of us has there own secret bubble.
In witch we fly around the world.
We go as high as we can
Have a little moment to look down and see
what a small world this is
See the colours and the shapes
The bubble protect us from the rain
Inside this bubble we are weightless
Inside we see things bright
But when we’ll get to high
the sun will dry the bubble
We’ll fall down on our pillow
And dream about our dreams
