Ending of de Day Ceremony in Ubbergen

After a great end impressive concert by Ingrid van Ree and poetry declamation by Peter Freijsen and the “flash-exhibition” we gathered with bubbles outside.
Most inspirational company and visitors makes me feel humble and modest. What a great day it has been again!

May 6 2014, The Poem by Ans van Kessel

Ans van Kessel, International Blowing Bubbles Day

Ans van Kessel recited her poem “Om jou te ontmoeten” in Dutch in the “Engelse Tuin”.
The English and the Finnish version :

To meet you

If a blown bubble
touches the clouds

your breath on
Earth blows

I will be beared

no pain no storm
rushes through my garden

lost and again
regaining

the days full
of
summer flowers

a kite

tensed to get
higher than high

ascend, descend

circling to
meet
you

in a world

where people
sing of peace.

Sinut kohdatakseen

Kun puhallettu kupla
koskettaa pilviä

hengityksesi tuulee maan yli
silloin minua kannatellaan

ei kipu eikä myrsky
puutarhaani riuhdo

kadotettu ja uudelleen
löydetty

päivät täynnä kesäkukkia

leija

jännitetty jotta
korkeuksista korkeimpaan

nousisi, laskisi

kaartelisi
sinut kohdatakseen

maailmassa

jossa ihmiset
laulavat rauhasta
