Annemarie Steen organized a blowing bubbles happening at the railway station of Eindhoven in the Netherlands. She was interviewed by the Radiostation 3FM for it. She made taxidrivers, trainpersonnel and passengers enthousiastic. There was fun,  shyness and enthousiasm at the travel site, discribing it (in Dutch) on ED gastblog and sending in these pictures.

Mr Brown (is out of town) at the Tsarina’s Stone, Helsinki, Finland

“Mr Brown is out of town” was two days ago in Helsinki at the oldest public monument in Finland. He writes: ”  In 1835 this monument was erected in honour of the visit by Tsar Nikolai I and the Tsarina Alexandra to Helsinki.
In the year of the Russian Revolution and Finland’s independence (1917), Russian seamen took down the globe and eagle, but the Finns kept them safe and the monument was restored in 1971″.
